Leonardo Series – TCMQ Quicklock

The standard TCMR of Leonardo Line Turrets, can be equipped and upgraded with EPPINGER QUICKLOCK^® becoming a TCMQ turret.

A special hydraulic actuator with an integrated drawbar, mounted on the top of the turret, drives the engagement and the disengagement of special keys into the turret tool disc.

These keys, when are inserted into the tool disc, automatically lock the toolholders in position without any movement during machining. In the same time when the keys are removed from the disc the toolholder is ready for the tool change.

Thus, the turret can be integrated in machines with ATC System (Automatic Tool Change) where the tool holders are automatically changed by a robot or by the operator.
