Baruffaldi started its business in the machine tools branch about 50 years ago with the manufacturing of mechanical clutches, followed by electromagnetic brakes and clutches.

Thanks to the development of the market and to the experience gained, during the 70s, Barrufaldi started the production of components for machine tools, as toolholder turrets, rotating toolholders and 2 speeds gearboxes.

Thanks to the experience gained during the 70 years in the manufacturing of brakes and clutches, Baruffaldi has developed new solutions, as the "fan clutches" for the cooling fan used in trucks and buses.


Thanks to 70 years experience acquired in the field of brakes and clutches at electromagnetic operation, BARUFFALDI has developed a series of specific products for weaving looms. Our experience which started on rapier looms, was later on passed to those at air - jet and in the end in those ones at water - jet. The application of our products can be made on all looms present on the market.

Baruffaldi takes special care to promptly satisfy new technical customer requirements and propose new solutions. We are working in accordance to ISO 9000 STANDARD and, our products respect the norms in force.

With the wish to diversify the business area, Baruffaldi has extended its activity also into the agricultural machines, such as tractors, with the use of electromagnetic clutches (fan clutches) and take powers either frontal or rear.
